🌱 Today I'd like to share something very inspir 🌱 Today I'd like to share something very inspirational with you by Bert Hellinger:

“The So-called ‘Black Sheep’ of the family are, in fact, seekers of liberation roads for the family tree. Those members of the tree who do not adapt to the rules or traditions of the family system, those who were constantly seeking to revolutionize beliefs, going in contrast to roads marked by family traditions, those criticized, tried and even rejected, those, by General, they are called to release the tree of repetitive stories that frustrate entire generations.

The ‘Black Sheep’, those who do not adapt, those who scream rebel, repair, detoxify and create a new and blooming branch… countless unfulfilled desires, unfulfilled dreams, frustrated talents of our ancestors manifest themselves in their rebellion looking to take place.

The family tree, by inertia, will want to continue to maintain the castrating and toxic course of its trunk, which makes its task difficult and conflicting… that no one makes you doubt, take care of your ‘rarity’ as the most precious flower of Your Tree.

You are the dream of all your ancestors”

Anton Hellinger (1925–2019), known as Bert Hellinger, was a German psychotherapist associated with a therapeutic method best known as Family Constellations and Systemic Constellations.

The painting is by the contemporary American artist Marlyn Daggett, "Be The Black Sheep, Not The Scapegoat" (Oil on Canvas, w 72 x h 96 inches).

😁 Did you know: when you buy music during a Ban 😁 Did you know: when you buy music during a Bandcamp Friday, 93 percent of that money goes to the artist or label on average (with the rest going to payment processing fees). The link to my Bandcamp page is in my bio!
☝️ That’s compared to an average of 82 percent the rest of the time. Bandcamp started the promotion in 2020 in response to the pandemic’s impact on tours and concerts.
🎤 So: this Friday, download some of my music and I'll receive almost all of the revenue!

Thank you! 🥰

🎧 Happy Monday! I hope you had a nice weekend! 🎧 Happy Monday! I hope you had a nice weekend! I had fun testing my recording equipment!
🎼 Don't ask me what took me so long... So still experimenting and practicing using the recording software Logic.
🎤 So far, I've only miked my voice but not the piano yet – I've used my second mic stand in the bedroom to hang a lamp... 🙈 I guess I need to get another one...

☂ This year has been challenging. Especially whe ☂ This year has been challenging. Especially when under stress it can be hard to let go of the chores and focus on the "right" things for oneself. For me it's practicing piano and writing songs, which was the very thing I did all weekend! YAY!
🎼 It felt so good to be expanding my repertoire again. Many thanks to my friend Heather who gave me this mug for some extra motivation... 🥰

Difficult Times... 🌹 Like – maybe – some o Difficult Times...

🌹 Like – maybe – some of you too, I am going through difficult times. It seems like the whole world is at the moment... So these lines from a newsletter just caught my eye and I thought they would be worth sharing with you:

✨ "It can be challenging to maintain a positive attitude and a measure of faith when you are in the midst of difficult times. This is partly because we tend to think that if the universe loves us, we will experience that love in the form of positive circumstances.

🧸 However, we are like children, and the universe is our wise mother who knows what our souls need to thrive better than we do. Just as a young child does not benefit from getting everything she wants, we also benefit from times of constriction and difficulty that help us grow and learn. If we keep this in mind and continue to trust that we are loved even when things are hard, it helps us bear the difficult times with grace.

🌎 This period of time in history is full of difficulty for a lot of human beings, and you may feel less alone knowing you are not being singled out. There are extreme energy changes pulsing through the universe at every level, and we are all part of the growing process -- and the growing pains. It helps if we remember that life is one phase after another and that this difficult time will inevitably give way to something new and different. When we feel overwhelmed, we can comfort ourselves with the wise saying this too shall pass.

💡 At the same time, if you truly feel that nothing is going right for you, it’s never a bad idea to examine your life and see if there are some changes you can make to alleviate some of the difficulty. Gently and compassionately exploring the areas giving you the most trouble may reveal things you are holding on to and need to release: unprocessed emotions, unresolved transitions, or negative ways of looking at yourself or reality. As you take responsibility for the things you can change, you can more easily surrender to the things you can’t, remembering all the while that this phase will, without doubt, give way to another."
